It all started when…

I was a senior in High School when the Columbine shooting happened. I had family in the building at Sandy Hook. My concerns as a mother and an educator carry into my work and address my anxieties about gun violence in our schools. In order to process this and help lessen the perceived power of these firearms, I reduce rifles to harmless, brightly-colored paper shapes covered in glitter, mold them out of porcelain, or turn them into chocolate.
