Twenty years in the classroom has taught me one undeniable truth: everyone has a unique creative voice waiting to be unlocked. As a certified K12 Art Educator and the Lead Teacher for Creative and Professional Studies at Parsippany Hills High School, I am incredibly proud to steer a premier art program. My days are split between the tactile world of Ceramics and the rigorous academic worlds of AP Art History and AP Art and Design—both curricula I proudly developed with an outstanding collegial staff. I love using art history to ignite fresh ideas in young artists, and there’s nothing quite like watching an AP student confidently curate and defend their own body of work. I don't just teach art; I am constantly inspired by it, drawing endless energy for my own studio practice from my students' raw creativity.

I believe it is important to surround oneself with as much art as possible and take my students to see artwork as often as I can. Recent high school field trips include The Metropolitan Museum of Art, MoMA, and The Brooklyn Museum.
